TOP STORY: Mancini keen on Yaya Toure reunion

So, maybe things at Inter aren't as pleasant as Roberto Mancini may have thought before becoming boss of the Nerazzurri. After earning 16 points in 11 matches under former manager Walter Mazzarri this season, the club have tallied 13 points in the 11 matches since Mancini took over in mid-November.

Sure, the former Manchester City manager brought in Arsenal and Bayern Munich outcasts Lukas Podolski and Xherdan Shaqiri, but that hasn't been enough to stem the tide in Milan. So, according to the Mirror, Mancini has urged Inter's sporting director to splash the cash on former underling Yaya Toure.
"Yaya Toure? Piero Ausilio [Inter's sporting director], put your hand in your pocket," Mancini is quoted as saying. "It's not easy, though, because he's at Manchester City, so it's up to him and whether he wants to come and play in Italy, after playing in the other major European leagues.
"Inter have more appeal than many teams, though, so we'll see what happens in the future, but he belongs to Manchester City at the moment."
